Famous for its colossal stone statues, Rapi Nui still taunts us with questions. How were the statues moved? How were the topknots positioned? Who created these megaliths?The sources of the information accompanying my photographs are from several books as well as Abby's notes made while listening to our knowledgeable guides. Our guides helped us understand why the entire island is a precious archeaological preserve.
