To make the transparencies I pointed the Polaroid camera toward the wall, about six feet away. A myriad of small images were on the film when developed. Any one can be clipped out into a small circle and then taped to the tiny optical device. Another source of transparencies is a 35 mm color slide. For example, a slide with a group of people in front of a building could be the source of a dozen or so transparencies for the tiny optical device. Each could produce a strange image on Polaroid film

The source of the images for Serios was infinite. Here is one example: I copied this page from a magazine using Polaroid 146 L transparency film. The advertisement was with about a dozen other magazine photos which were tacked to a wall.
